The Thornhill Square Association constitution states that it was set up 'to preserve the Square, the Crescent and their amenities in the best possible state and to promote and encourage events that are of mutual benefit to the community. Membership of the Association shall be until futher notice open to all residents of Thornhill Square and Crescent and their access roads, ie Bridgeman Road, Crescent Street and that part of Matilda Street that lies between Thornhill Square and Richmond Avenue. No resident shall be excluded because of race, gender, sexuality or disability. The Committee shall be considered to be those Memebers of the Association present at any meeting. An Annual General meeting of the Association shall appoint three officers, named Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary who will retire after a period of one year. Also to include representatives on other bodies, to be elected annually'.
